2010 – The Best Year of My Life

2010You have to start with belief! No good thing comes without a belief that it is possible, so that’s where my year long journey starts.  The journey is 2010, the best year of my life!  I believe this will be true, and I’m getting started on the right foot, with a belief in my mind and heart that it will be so.  “Whatever your mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” -Napoleon Hill (One of my favorite quotes).

I remember when I was younger, there wasn’t ever much that stood in the way of me getting to where I wanted to be or doing what I wanted to do.  I always knew that I could accomplish whatever I set out to do with hard work and belief.  I don’t know what happened, but at some point on the road of my life I stopped believing in my ability to accomplish things and be successful.  I got into the habit of believing that I wasn’t capable of fulfilling my dreams, becoming financially independent, a work from home entrepreneur, a successful business man.  I stopped believing in myself.  In 2010, this stops!

They say that out of 100 people, all of which desire to be successful, only 5 will be financially independent and living a joyful and full life while the rest will be broke, still working their butts off or will be dead decades after being asked the success questions…

This is my year to become one of the 5 …
This is my year to shine …
This is my year to become who God has created me to fully be!

I hope you enjoy my blog over the next year because starting Jan. 1st, 2010, I will blog every day for 365 days chronicling my road to success.  I will talk about pain, struggles, beliefs, victories and everything in between.  There will be humor, satire, sarcasm and much more.

How exactly will I succeed you ask?  Well, I have goals, which I will explain in a later post and I have an action plan to fulfill those goals.  I will speak to all of these things, but what you need to know now is that I’m changing!  “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” Well, in 2010, Travis Fitzwater is a changed man!  I will be going from the TV addict, internet forum rockstar, Cleveland sports fiend to the studious, driven, scheduled, organized and motivated Travis Fitzwater.  I hope you get something out of this, because this is a huge undertaking.  And, if a schmoe like me can do something like this (which I am fully confident I will), you can to!

Today, I read an article about Guy Kawasaki (You know the former Apple guru who now runs the highly successful Alltop.com news aggregator), and he mentioned a key to success is to have a mantra.  And this is my mantra, “Setting People Free!” I want my freedom to be bestowed on others.  This is my purpose, my goal for this year, that people find freedom from whatever it is they need freedom from so as to live a happy, joyful and fulfilling life.  Join me as I take this journey through The Best Year of My Life!

God bless,

Travis

PD, I did the “Read some books” just for you, believe it or not! Haha, I knew you’d get a kick out of that. Secondly, the ad I have at the top of my webpage is the hosting service I use, but I think you’re asking me about what website template service I use, right? I built my website from a template I purchased from a web design company. It’s very easy to use and it jives with my web hosting service, Bluehost. Plus, I can create as many websites as I want, which is nice. Hope this helps!
