How to Train Your Mind For Good Habits & Fridays

Today marks my first full week of blogging about business success and I would say that after each day that passes not only do I enjoy blogging a little more, but I’m conditioning myself to make blogging a habit.  Using this same mentality, I can change my mindset so that all the tasks I currently dread doing will become habits I enjoy taking care of … see below.

Here’s how you can change your mindset to enjoy any task in your life:

  • Think about the task not as a hindrance to your comfort or something you dread doing, but think of the task you want to become a habit as something you are really excited about doing
  • Before even taking part in the task, think about how much fun it’s going to be and how much you’ll enjoy being productive
  • While you’re taking on the task, whistle, smile and enjoy what you’re doing.  This will teach your mind to desire fulfilling this task / habit and you will become accustomed to wanting to fulfill the task rather than dreading the mere thought of it!

So, train your mind to enjoy the things you currently dread doing and you may, nay, you WILL find that you begin to enjoy those very same tasks because your mindset has changed about them.  Simple as that!
