Why Network Marketing?

Why Network Marketing, many of you will ask?

I’ve done so much talking about goals, vision, purpose, mindset, balance and so on the first week of my blogging that I figured today we would discuss the method by which I shall achieve success and that method is Network Marketing.

A simple definition of network marketing (off the top of my head) would be:  Building a group of distributors (A TEAM) committed to providing a useful product to a network of people connected by personal relationships.  In other words, we find people who want to join the team by building relationships, sign those people up and teach them how to use the product and get others to join the team.

It’s as simple as this:

1.  Get distributors
2.  Get customers
3.  Teach your distributors how to do what you’re doing
4.  Get PAID when your group/TEAM grows

I will speak more on the above as my simple action plan later this week…

Anyway, it’s as simple as getting people involved and teaching them how to get people involved.  You make money when your group/TEAM grows in size.  Novel concept, huh?  Well, it’s been working for multi-billion dollar companies for decades.  It’s the most effective and feasible way for a person of modest means without enough capital to start a significant business to create an income far beyond anything that would be available in a job.

So, what are the benefits of doing something crazy like starting your own business for a couple hundred dollars (sarcasm to be noted, as it’s not crazy to start your own business, especially when you have very little up front and ongoing cost)?

1.  Freedom to build the business within your current schedule
2.  Build your business by making connections with people and building relationships (we are relational people and desire to be in relationship with people…I assume this is a benefit to most)
3.  Compounding income that can grow while you’re NOT working – You make money off the efforts of others.  The larger your team grows, the more money you make
4.  Make your own hours and answer to yourself as the boss
5.  Spend time doing what you want when you want
6.  Start a business with little investment (generally $100-$1,000 to start and $30-200/month thereafter depending on the company you join)

These were all very attractive benefits to us (my wife, Amy, and I) and they are the biggest reasons for choosing Network Marketing as the method for our success.  I hope you find this informative.  If you have questions or comments, add them below and we’ll start the conversation!

God bless,

Travis
